An experimental smart electricity grid

As part of the Innovative City convention and exhibition, Université Côte d’Azur, MINES ParisTech with ARMINES and their industrial partners Enedis, GRDF and Schneider Electric, concluded on Thursday, June 28, 2018 in Nice a framework partnership agreement to develop together, with the technical support from the Capenergies competitiveness cluster, a “Smart Campus” based on the deployment of an experimental smart grid.

IMREDD, an experimental building to initiate the Smart Campus of University Côte d’Azur in the eco-valley Plaine du Var

First stone of the future eco-campus of the Eco-Vallée Plaine du Var, the Mediterranean Institute of Risk, Environment and Sustainable Development (IMREDD), home of the University Côte d’Azur’s Reference Center “Smart territory, prevention and risk management”, will settle in the summer of 2019 in its future building in the heart of the Nice Meridia technology park.
