As part of the CA3DREME (Compléments Alimentaires en 3D, Recherche Expérimentale Médico-Éducative) project, two residents and four members of staff from the Foyer d'Accueil Médicalisé Les Baous in Vence visited the IMREDD and its SCIC Technology Platform to find out about 3D food printing.

This Tuesday, 24th May, IMREDD opened its doors to 30 students from Thierry Maulnier high school in Nice. Maintaining its spirit of openness, exchange, and mutual enrichment, the institute offered a comprehensive tour of its innovative building. An awareness session on plastic depollution and innovation in ideas was also presented through the EarthWake project.

As part of the CoCoNNuts project, a public questionnaire is being launched to allow everyone to share their perception of the sound environment (sounds, noises, and even noise pollution in cities), particularly in relation to recent societal/economic changes imposed by the various lockdowns during the Covid-19 epidemic.
In the pandemic context, surgical masks represent 3.5 million items of waste per day, with a degradation time that can reach approximately 450 years. Students from the Master's degree in Industrial Development and students from the first year of the Master's degree in GEDD have joined forces for the MASK'N'COLLECT project, which aims to collect and recycle used masks in order to transform them into t-shirts.
Following government announcements, wearing a mask will no longer be mandatory, either outdoors or on the premises of IMREDD and the University, starting Monday 14 March 2022.
