IMREDD students learn about risks
Over 120 students took part in a module designed by the fire brigade
On the IMREDD back-to-school event on 14 September, over 120 students from the 9 courses hosted at IMREDD (BHPE, EME, MQM, COMEDD, JRDD, GEOPRAD, CRES, GEDD and Engineers for Smart Cities) and from The Sustainable Design School participated in the IMPACT module, designed by the Firefighters 06 – SDIS 06 for risk awareness and crisis management.
The IMPACT module is part of the IMREDD Transdisciplinary Workshops. It involves bringing students from 8 distinct disciplinary programmes (law, communication, environmental management, geography, energy, materials, design, urban planning) face to face with the risks in their region to assess the impact of climate change by 2050 in the Alpes-Maritimes department.
