IMREDD takes part in a Resilience and Risk Management Seminar in Brazil
As part of the partnership with the Association of Municipalities of the Middle Itajaí Valley (Ammvi), in Brazil, Paulo Moura, project development engineer at IMREDD, presented the steps of the risk management process to an audience of mayors, deputies, municipal councilors and technicians. Valentin Grosso, research engineer at IMREDD, led a workshop to build a regional risk management action plan.
IMREDD to speak at a Resilience and Risk Management Seminar in Brazil
As part of the partnership with the Association of Municipalities of the Middle Itajaí Valley (Ammvi), in Brazil, Paulo Moura, project development engineer at IMREDD, presented the stages in the risk management process to an audience of mayors, deputy mayors, municipal councillors and technicians. Valentin Grosso, a research engineer at IMREDD, led a workshop on building a regional risk management action plan.
The IMREDD is part of a cross-border consortium, within the framework of the Interreg-Alcotra programme, aiming to develop innovation and strengthen the mountain economy of the Mediterranean Alps territory.
As the Nice Côte d'Azur metropolitan authority's delegate, IMREDD manages and runs a LIVING LAB, dedicated to the research and development of innovative solutions for adapting to climate change.
Signing of an agreement with the Departmental Council of Alpes-Maritimes on risk management
On Thursday 26 September, Université Côte d'Azur and the Alpes-Maritimes Departmental Council signed an agreement to carry out an experimental study, supported by IMREDD, with a view to setting up a natural risk management platform in the Department.
