IMREDD showcases its droids and autonomous vehicles to schoolchildren
On the sidelines of Challenge national de secours d'urgence aux personnes et secours routiers, the engineers from IMREDD went out to meet the younger generation to talk about «autonomous mobility».
On 23 and 24 June, pupils from several schools in Nice, Grasse and Carros visited the IMREDD stand, located in the Nice Exhibition Centre, to discover an autonomous shuttle and two autonomous drones: TwinswHeel and Borobo. These pieces of equipment integrate the Smart City Innovation Center technological platform.
The exhibition raised numerous questions, the most frequent being: «How does it work?» and «When will everyone be able to access it?».
The exchange allowed our experts to gauge the acceptability of tomorrow's technologies among young people and to understand new use cases.
