The IMREDD is part of a cross-border consortium, within the framework of the Interreg-Alcotra programme, aiming to develop innovation and strengthen the mountain economy of the Mediterranean Alps territory.
As a delegate of the Nice Côte d'Azur metropolitan area, IMREDD manages and runs a LIVING LAB, dedicated to the research and development of innovative solutions for adapting to climate change. This space for exchange and open innovation brings together companies, the world of research and stakeholders from cross-border mountain areas (Alpes Maritimes, Provinces of Cuneo and Imperia). This LIVING LAB is particularly interested in the development of innovative solutions for the energy efficiency of ski resorts and greenhouses and the optimisation of water resources in the agricultural and pastoral sectors.
