The IMREDD welcomes residents from the Foyer Les Baous to discover 3D food printing
As part of the project CA3DREME (3D Food Supplements, Experimental Medico-Educational Research), two residents and four staff members from the Foyer d’Accueil Médicalisé Les Baous in Vence visited IMREDD and its SCIC Technological Platform to discover food 3D printing.
The project, which aims to study the acceptability of 3D-printed food supplements among dependent elderly people, those with severe disabilities in institutions, and patients with head and neck cancers, is now entering a new phase of data collection on users' and patients' perceptions (opinions, acceptance, disapproval) regarding this new technology.
