The IMREDD welcomes students from the Thierry Maulnier high school for a day on climate change
As part of the cross-border programme Piter Alpimed Clima, This morning, IMREDD welcomed around twenty students and teachers from Lycée Thierry Maulnier for a themed day focusing on the challenges of global warming. This project aims to improve territorial planning by public institutions for climate change adaptation, particularly in mountainous regions.
The students discovered the climate change adaptation projects led by IMREDD at Isola 2000, and visited the Smart City Innovation Center technology platform and its Showroom. They also participated, with French project partners, in a CLIMASTORY workshop, a fun and educational simulation tool, which proposes considering a fictional territory from the standpoint of climate change and adaptation solutions for 5 economic activity themes.
