On Thursday 18 July, a participatory workshop was organised at IMREDD, as part of the research programme Popsu, in partnership with NCA Metropolitan Area.
On the theme of« Regional attractiveness »and produced by the research laboratories UMR 7300 ESPACE (geography) and EA TransitionS (communication), the workshop brought together young people aged 8 to 16 supported by the association Les Petits Débrouillards.

A number of activities were offered as part of this programme:
- a guided tour of the Smart City Innovation Centre, to explain the different challenges facing the region in the future, and a 3D 360° virtual tour of the future Nice Meridia district,
- a visit to the Maker Space technical platform, featuring equipment in fields such as Bioinspiration, Smart Home, Digital Simulation, etc.
- a fun working session to look at how the area will be managed in 10 years' time, using participative games.

The day provided food for thought and answers to some of the environmental issues and technologies of today and tomorrow.
