The Nice Méridia eco-neighbourhood is moving towards an innovative and sustainable model with the signing of the agreement for the creation of the Nice Méridia Energy Community.

The aim? To pool the production and consumption of renewable energy to reduce losses and optimise exchanges. Designed to minimise energy needs and make the most of local resources (solar, geothermal, heating networks), this pilot project embodies a replicable vision of energy autonomy on a regional scale.

Supported by the IMREDD - Université Côte d'Azur, the Nice Côte d'Azur Metropolitan Area, the Nice Côte d'Azur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Campus Sud des Métiers, MERIDIA SMART ENERGIE, HABITAT 06 and the Palazzo Meridia condominium complex, this ambitious partnership is a response to the challenges of climate change while protecting the future of our planet.
