Launch of the Serenity project
Thursday 23 June, 2022 - Together with its partners ONHYS, ATRISC, Inocess, SIRADEL and Videtics, IMREDD today launched the Serenity project at an event at Fort Ganteaume in Marseille.
This innovative three-year project, funded by the French government as part of France 2030 and by the European Union as part of NextGenerationEU, is changing the face of urban planning and the management of major events.
It enables a detailed analysis of urban dynamics, the needs of the population and multimodal travel, so that we can ultimately serve them more efficiently, ecologically and economically, and increase their safety.
SERENITY incorporates numerous technological innovations in artificial intelligence (pedestrian and vehicle simulation), field data feedback (real-time, anonymous), flow analysis (precise multimodal routing and counting), and data representation (indicators and digital twin).
WHO IS SERENITY FOR?
- Regalian institutions seeking to achieve greater fluidity and efficiency in their multi-actor interactions and to strengthen the crisis management tools at their disposal.
- Smart cities that are part of a sustainable development approach and want to equip themselves with technological tools for understanding flows and urban planning.
- Operators of establishments open to the public (ERP) looking for better risk management and cross-functional flow management tools (safety, marketing, ecological impact).
- For major sporting and cultural events, to offer visitors the most enjoyable experience while remaining safe.
SERENITY is a platform designed by and for multiple players and uses. Its aim is to streamline interactions, speed up understanding of a situation, and increase the quality and efficiency of the response. This decision-making tool enhances human expertise by providing didactic analysis data and enabling people to project themselves into the future.
