On 2 December 2025, the Georges Méliès Campus in Cannes hosted the second Forum of the «Water in the Territories of the Alpes-Maritimes» partnership chair.

More than 90 participants - representatives of local authorities, researchers, economic players and associations - came together to discuss the current and future challenges of water management in the Alpes-Maritimes. The day's events provided an opportunity to share progress on the Chair's scientific programme and to strengthen the dynamic of dialogue and co-construction between local players in the service of the regions of the Alpes-Maritimes.

The minutes of the Forum review the highlights of the day: presentation of the strategic axis for water resources developed by UPE06, launch of the «Water Trophies» by the Fondation Université Côte d'Azur in conjunction with the Chair, which will reward innovations for water resources in the spring, and a round table devoted to the reuse of treated wastewater (REUT), paving the way for the creation of a new working group dedicated to this theme.
