Meeting with AMMVI: 14 Mayors – Risk and Resilience vs. COVID 19
This Tuesday, April 14th, IMREDD took part in a meeting with the 14 mayors of AMMVI (the Association of Municipalities of the Middle Itajaí Valley, in Brazil) concerning the measures taken in France and the possibility of replicating them in Brazil.
Among the points discussed during this meeting were: the lockdown measures applied to France, the conditions justifying travel, the introduction of a travel pass, and the government's support measures for businesses.
The particular efforts to monitor the senior population of Nice were highlighted, through a pre-existing database, allowing the implementation of different scenarios and modelling.
Finally, emphasis was placed on the importance of planning actions in response to the health crisis, particularly after the crisis, and the importance of communicating with the public and encouraging actions to combat COVID-19.
