This Thursday, May 25th, IMREDD – Université Côte d’Azur, in collaboration with FARO Technologies, offered a practical workshop on digitisation using 3D scanners, featuring demonstrations and real-world case studies.
This morning, our experts' presentations highlighted the vast potential of 3D scanners in fields as diverse as construction, architecture, automotive, mechanics, and even healthcare. IMREDD introduced the event by presenting its service offerings, while FARO Technologies unveiled the various available scanning methods, thus providing a comprehensive overview of the possibilities offered by this revolutionary technology.
This was followed by a showcase of concrete projects carried out with 3D scanners, through feedback that illustrated how 3D digitisation can transform the business sectors of the various participants.
Finally, a demonstration workshop allowed participants to closely explore FARO's various fixed and portable equipment, enabling them to visualise the capabilities and practical advantages of these cutting-edge tools.
