IMREDD works daily in the fields of smart mobility and eco-driving, via the Teacher training or through its participation in European projects such as IRIS. On 8 and 9 May, the 5th edition of RIVIERA ELECTRIC CHALLENGE, which the IMREDD will participate in for the 4th consecutive year. Organised on the sidelines of the EVER Monaco trade show, the rally will sound its starting signal in the town of Cagnes-sur-Mer. The 30 crews will make stops in towns such as Nice, Menton, Dolceacqua, San Remo and Ventimiglia, among others. Finally, they will cross the finish line at the Grimaldi Forum, in the principality of Monaco. A trophy award ceremony will be held at the end of the second day of competition.

The company and local authority representatives taking part in the event will all be travelling in electric cars. They will have to complete the different stages of the rally using as little energy as possible. The Riviera Electric Challenge includes the following three events:

– A questionnaire on sustainable development and history.

A driving test.

A «surprise» test in Italy.
