Signing of an agreement with the Departmental Council of Alpes-Maritimes on risk management
University of Côte d'Azur and the Alpes-Maritimes Departmental Council signed an agreement on Thursday 26 September to carry out an experimental study, supported by IMREDD, with a view to setting up a natural risk management platform in the department. The event took place at the Showroom of the Smart City Innovation Center, on the premises of IMREDD, in the presence of the President of the Alpes-Maritimes Departmental Council, Charles-Ange GINESY, and the President of Université Côte d'Azur, Jean-Marc GAMBAUDO.
The project, The aim of this project, led by Prof. Pierre-Jean BARRE, Director of IMREDD, is to test and validate one or more methodological tools for characterising the detection, monitoring and management of an event. The study includes the development of a «zero state» and the creation of a list of raw data sources that can be used according to the typology of risks, as well as the development of a methodology to exploit these data and present them using a dashboard, to make them more comprehensible so as to improve decision-making capacity in risk management in the Alpes-Maritimes.
