An experimental smart grid
As part of the Innovative City trade fair, Université Côte d'Azur and MINES ParisTech with ARMINES and their industrial partners Enedis, GRDF and Schneider Electric, signed a partnership framework agreement on Thursday 28 June 2018 in Nice to develop together, with the technical support of the Capenergies competitiveness cluster, a «Smart Campus» based on the deployment of an experimental smart electricity network.
The IMREDD, an experimental building to launch the Université Côte d'Azur's Smart Campus in the Plaine du Var eco-valley
The first stone of the future eco-campus in the Plaine du Var Eco-Valley, the Institut Méditerranéen du Risque, de l'Environnement et du Développement Durable (IMREDD), holder of the Université Côte d'Azur's «Intelligent Territories, Risk Prevention and Management» Reference Centre, will be moving into its future building in the heart of the Nice Meridia technology park in summer 2019.
