{"id":18325,"date":"2021-03-31T11:06:00","date_gmt":"2021-03-31T09:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/imredd.fr\/?p=18325"},"modified":"2026-01-08T12:22:42","modified_gmt":"2026-01-08T11:22:42","slug":"workshop-sur-limpression-3d-alimentaire-a-limredd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/imredd.fr\/en\/workshop-sur-limpression-3d-alimentaire-a-limredd\/","title":{"rendered":"IMREDD hosts a workshop on 3D food printing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Launch of the CA project<sup>3D<\/sup>\u00a0REME,\u00a0\u00a0<b>Food supplements<a name=\"x_m_6630071104335985013_m_-779205203055261\" data-linkindex=\"8\"><\/a><sup>3D<\/sup>, experimental medico-educational research<\/b>, was held on 31 March 2021 at IMREDD.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">More than fifty participants, both in person and remotely, gathered for a conference forum followed by a visit to the IMREDD Maker Space. The research to be carried out at the\u2019<a href=\"http:\/\/transitions.unice.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Transitions Research Unit<\/a> will aim to measure the acceptability of food produced by 3D printing and mainly intended for dependent elderly people and patients suffering from cervico-facial cancer. They will also open up the debate on the social acceptability of an innovation that is generating surprise and controversy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The forum-debate was organised by students from the <a href=\"https:\/\/univ-cotedazur.fr\/offre-de-formation\/comedd-communication-ecocitoyenne-patrimoines-et-developpement-durable\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Master's degree in Communication, Heritage, Environment and Sustainable Development (COMEDD)<\/a> which is part of the Transitions research unit.
