{"id":19715,"date":"2021-09-24T15:01:06","date_gmt":"2021-09-24T13:01:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/imredd.fr\/?p=19715"},"modified":"2026-01-08T12:22:45","modified_gmt":"2026-01-08T11:22:45","slug":"passage-de-temoin-de-la-direction-de-limredd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/imredd.fr\/en\/passage-de-temoin-de-la-direction-de-limredd\/","title":{"rendered":"Passing of the baton to the management of IMREDD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the presence of the IMREDD team and numerous institutional and industrial partners, and with a video message from the French Minister for Higher Education, Fr\u00e9d\u00e9rique Vidal, the outgoing director of the IMREDD, Pr Pierre-Jean BARRE, handed over the baton on Friday 24 September to Dr Eric DUMETZ, the new director appointed by the President of the Universit\u00e9 C\u00f4te d'Azur.<\/p>\n<p>Eric DUMETZ holds a doctorate in automatic control and was an associate professor at Polytech-Universit\u00e9 des Sciences et Technologies de Lille from 1997 to 2007, where he was responsible for the professional Master's degree in mechanical engineering and a member of the jury for the agr\u00e9gation in mechanical engineering. He was Director of the \u00c9cole Nationale des Arts et M\u00e9tiers in Lille from 2007 to 2013, where he was involved in developing business relations and the \u00abresearch-education-innovation\u00bb knowledge triangle, before being seconded to the Universit\u00e9 C\u00f4te d'Azur as Deputy Director of the Institut M\u00e9diterran\u00e9en du Risque, de l'Environnement et du D\u00e9veloppement Durable.
