The current context requires public and private stakeholders to adapt rapidly to reduce their energy consumption in order to cope with supply tensions while reconciling environmental and climate emergencies.
With this in mind, IMREDD, Team Henri-Fabre and the Nice Côte d’Azur Chamber of Commerce organised a morning of discussions on the energy transition, with a focus on the IMREDD building and its solutions and innovations in the field of energy efficiency.
The PUMA-X collaborative project was unveiled in the presence of Françoise Bruneteaux, Deputy Mayor of Cannes, Regional Councillor for the South of France and a supporter of the project from the outset, and David Lisnard, Mayor of Cannes and Chairman of the Cannes Lérins conurbation, the area hosting the first PUMA-X trial. A real technological breakthrough to better protect people from increasing risks.
This Thursday, 22nd September, IMREDD was present at the Mobility Day, which took place at the Campus Sud des Métiers, to present its projects in the field of mobility to the users of the Méridia district.
IMREDD hosted the first edition of this event, promoted by the European Commission to highlight collaboration between all the players in the innovation ecosystem. The Learning Centre was the stage for exchanges and meetings on European opportunities for innovation, cooperation and business creation. Students, including Ekaterina Koptseva from the MSc Engineers for Smart Cities, and young innovative entrepreneurs presented their projects to a panel of experts from the Université Côte d'Azur, the Région Sud and the European Innovation Council.
On Monday 27 June, IMREDD hosted the event "Cap vers l'industrie du futur et l'innovation" organised by the CCI Nice Côte d'Azur, bringing together many industrial partners from the region.
On the sidelines of the National Emergency and Road Rescue Challenge, IMREDD engineers met with younger people to talk about «autonomous mobility».
