Rules for living
Working together to preserve the quality of our common spaces
To ensure a pleasant working and study environment for all, IMREDD would like to remind you of a few essential rules of respect for the premises and the community. These principles apply to all users: students, lecturers, staff, partners and visitors.
Kitchen and dining areas
To keep our spaces clean and accessible to all:
-
Clean your crockery, utensils and surfaces, then put them away immediately.
-
Don't leave anything in the sink after your visit.
-
Empty the fridge at the end of the day. Forgotten food and containers will be disposed of at the end of each week.
-
Close French windows giving access to the terraces after use.
-
Respect outdoor furniture Tables and chairs: please put them away and avoid any handling that could damage them.
Classrooms, teaching areas and meeting rooms
To preserve functional and welcoming spaces:
- Don't eat in classrooms, meeting rooms or the Learning Centre (except for authorised events for which a cleaning service is provided).
- Do not move the furniture from one room to another.
- Replace tables, chairs and cushions (Learning Center) after your visit.
- Close the windows at the end of the lesson (their opening is normally prohibited).
- Close off access to terraces from the adjoining rooms.
- Respect the tranquillity of the area: avoid running or shouting in the corridors.
Toilets
For respectful use of these common spaces:
- Use equipment appropriately and leave the premises clean for the next person.
- Don't throw paper on the ground and use the bins provided.
Outside areas and building surroundings
-
The building and its terraces are completely non-smoking.
- The 2nd floor terrace is reserved for IMREDD and Fondation Université Côte d'Azur staff. Students are welcome to use the patio on the 1st floor.
-
Please do not throw your cigarette butts on the ground in front of the entrance: ashtrays are installed on the pavement for this purpose.
