Serenity
This project has been funded by the government as part of France 2030 and by the European Union – Next Generation EU.
Goals
The SERENITY project, funded by BPI France as part of the i-démo initiative, is a game-changer for urban planning and the management of major events.
It enables a detailed analysis of urban dynamics, the needs of the population and multimodal travel, so that we can ultimately serve them more efficiently, ecologically and economically, and increase their safety.
SERENITY incorporates numerous technological innovations in artificial intelligence (pedestrian and vehicle simulation), field data feedback (real-time, anonymous), flow analysis (precise multimodal routing and counting), and data representation (indicators and digital twin).
SERENITY is defined as a platform designed by and for multiple stakeholders and uses. It aims to streamline interactions, accelerate understanding of a situation, and increase the quality and efficiency of the response. This decision-support tool enhances human expertise by providing it with didactic analytical data and enabling it to project into the future.
SERENITY addresses various stakeholders:
- Aux State institutions seeking to gain more fluidity and efficiency in their multi-stakeholder interactions and to strengthen their crisis management tools.
- Aux Smart cities as part of a sustainable development approach and wishing to equip itself with technological tools for understanding flows and urban planning.
- Aux Public Building Operators seeking better risk management and cross-functional flow management tools (security, marketing, ecological footprint).
- Aux Major sporting and cultural events in order to offer visitors the most enjoyable experience while remaining safe.
