PRACTICES
Goals
The objective of PRACCIIS is to foster the development of SMEs and large companies in the Sud Region through the use of technologies specific to Industry of the Future (IdFu) by enabling them to integrate new technologies or processes: digital, advanced controls, robotics, 3D printing, IoT, data valorisation, Virtual or Augmented Reality, etc.
This future industry acceleration platform project is supported by TEAM Henri-Fabre and has been accredited by the state, in response to a call for projects from the General Secretariat for Investment, and evaluated by BPI France as part of the Future Investments Programme and its sector support and transformation initiative.
The platform managed by TEAM Henri-Fabre will be supported by around fifteen technological partners based in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, including IMREDD – Université Côte d’Azur. The support programmes must address three joint challenges:
- Raising awareness of Future Industry technologies and processes
- The possibility of carrying out trials and tests
- Support through the integration of technologies and processes
Within the framework of PRACCIIS, the IMREDD makes available to companies, via its technological platform Smart City Innovation Center, equipment and skills enabling testing and trials to be carried out in 4 areas:
- Energy solutions for buildings ;
- Bioinspiration: testing and manufacturing platform for bio-inspired materials ;
- Additive fabrication: testing of small-batch manufacturing methods and characterisation; ;
- Screenplay: Collaborative work in virtual reality.
