PUMA-X
Goals
PUMA-X (Universal Multi-Alert Platform) is an innovative project developed by a consortium of seven major players in the security, defence, and environmental sectors, aiming to develop a scalable and interoperable crisis management platform.
Objective: to perfectly coordinate and optimise the piloting of crisis prevention and overall crisis management. An innovative, integrated, modular and interoperable solution designed to interface with existing tools, intended for local authorities, large accounts and security stakeholders.
The world population is increasingly exposed to natural, industrial, and security risks, with considerable human and economic impacts.
Climate change could increase the frequency and intensity of weather events in the next 10 years, and new threats such as COVID are putting our management resources under severe strain.
The different parties can have their liability engaged in the event of a failure or omission in their prevention, information, and reaction obligations.
To address these challenges, local authorities, businesses, and security stakeholders must have effective and tailored multi-risk tools and services. These tools should enable them to optimise their technical or human resources, contribute to risk reduction, and ensure traceability of information received, transmitted, and actions taken.
Existing market solutions mostly address very specific needs (forecasting, alerts, video surveillance, or mapping, etc.), and do not allow for the entire user requirement to be met within a single integrated offering.
