Temperature and stress sensor by reflectometry along a cable

General goal
The activity investigates reflectometry techniques to measure the temperature and stress inside a PTC cable in order to uncover any mechanical default/failure and its accurate physical position. To this aim specific material (matrix/dopant) and cables will be designed, manufactured, and tested in a laboratory environment. The reflectometry measurement techniques will be also elaborated.
